What’s the deal de Lorenzo?
Dear Mr Vincent de Lorenzo,
On the 1st November you, and two people from Enzo Holistic Hair Therapy met with myself, and three members of my team at Tango Communications in Auckland. As you’ll remember, the meeting was to discuss the written proposal we’d produced for the refresh of the Enzo Holistic Hair Therapy website. During that meeting you regaled proudly de Lorenzo’s heritage in hair care products and how it all began in the 30’s with your father camping on the doorstep of a top Sydney Hair Salon until they gave him a job. We presented our proposal and you ended our presentation with the words ‘lets get on with it’.
We were pretty happy, our thinking was solid and approach appropriate, and we thought we’d secured another client that we could assist to develop and grow. As is our process, we followed up our meeting with a confirmation email and a formal estimate, which was approved by email, and we got to work.
With our relationship developing we completed a range of strategic and tactical projects over the next 3 months (all estimated and approved as you have a record of). From sorting out your website domain structure through to development of a new website and a strategic digital plan.
So, what’s the deal de Lorenzo?
You owe us $46,151.81 for work completed, approved and in market.
You say you’re solvent, you haven’t disputed an invoice and are using our work in the market – so what’s the deal de Lorenzo?
Tango has been helping businesses develop communication strategies for over 12 years. Our client relationships typically start with a project, as yours did, and develop into long-term relationships. We have never had a client act with such a total lack of integrity.
You say you have the means to pay your debts, so what possible reason could you have to not pay this one?
